The Vericker Foundation is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our resources—from homeownership guides to partner connections—are available to all.

We believe that the path to homeownership should be open to everyone. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

2. Actions We Are Taking

To ensure a seamless experience, we are working to:

  • Provide Alternative Text: Ensuring all images have "alt text" so screen readers can describe them.

  • Keyboard Navigation: Making sure our site can be navigated entirely without a mouse.

  • Color Contrast: Using high-contrast colors to ensure text is readable for users with low vision.

  • Consistent Structure: Using proper headings and labels to make the site predictable and easy to understand.
