Refund Policy
Last Updated: February 1, 2026
Thank you for supporting The Vericker Foundation. Your generosity directly helps us provide the education and professional resources necessary to empower renters on their journey to homeownership.
1. General Policy: All Donations are Final
Because The Vericker Foundation is a non-profit organization and donations are used immediately to support our educational programs and community initiatives, all donations are considered final and non-refundable. As a rule, charitable contributions are irrevocable gifts. Once a donation is accepted, the funds are legally owned by the Foundation to be used in accordance with our mission and the public interest.
2. Exceptional Circumstances
While we maintain a strict no-refund policy, we may review requests on a case-by-case basis under the following highly specific circumstances:
-
Technical Errors: If a technical glitch resulted in a duplicate transaction or an incorrect amount being charged.
-
Unauthorized Use: If a donation was made fraudulently using your credit card without your consent (subject to verification).
3. Request Process
If you believe a technical error has occurred, you must submit a written request within 15 days of the donation date. Please include:
-
Your full name and contact information.
-
The date and amount of the donation.
-
The specific reason for the request (e.g., duplicate charge).
Requests should be sent to: help@verickerfoundation.org
4. Tax Implications
If a refund is granted for a donation that occurred in a previous tax year, or for which a tax receipt has already been issued, the donor is responsible for consulting with a tax professional regarding any necessary amendments to their tax filings.
